Scope of service
The SmartGrade app works on the following operating systems:
- Android versions 7.0 and above
- iOS versions 9.0 and above
While I try to make the app compatible with as many devices as possible, newly released operating systems might not be supported immediately. In case of disruption of service (by a software problem with the app), I commit to fixing it as soon as possible.
You can choose to remain anonymous. No sign-in is required to use the app.
Your input data (including scans, scores) will not leave your device unless you explicitly share it from within the app.
Rejected scans (for example errors, blurry, or false positive scans) might be automatically collected in order to improve the app.
If you choose to buy the app subscription, your Apple ID or Google Play account has to be active, but your account information will not be stored anywhere else other than your own device.
You will not be served ADs.
You will be treated with respect and discretion.
You may not abuse the app. This includes copying, decompiling and exploiting the free usage beyond the trial period.
You are responsible for your data. Your data lives exclusively in your own device. If you wish to save your data, consider manually exporting it from within the app.
If you find a security or privacy issue with the app, I ask that you email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Subscriptions for the app may be bought via in-app purchase. The payment and renewal are handled by Google Play or Apple's App Store, which require you to have an active account on their platforms.
New versions of the app may introduce new features that may require updates to this terms of service. I will email customers with updates whenever possible about changes, but this webpage will always host the most up-to-date version of the terms and service.
